Description
- SPORTident ComCard Up combines the SI-Card8 and a thumb compass in one beautiful device
- ComCard Up has 2 functions:
- navigation
- punching at the control stations
- The electronics are placed underneath the runner’s thumb for the optimal and distraction-free orienteering
- This device stores up to 30 punches
- It takes just over the tenth of a second per punch
- Left-handed and right-handed versions of the SPORTident ComCard Up are available

At very low temperatures or very high altitude the formation of bubbles in the compass capsule is possible (but not obligatory). When a compass is subsequently placed under normal conditions, the bubbles tend to disappear and, in the future, might not reappear even in cold weather or at high altitude. (The plastic material after such “training” becomes more elastic.)
